Hatta Water Dam

Hatta er en eksklave fra Dubai, i De Forenede Arabiske Emirater, højt oppe i Hajar-bjergene. Den restaurerede, århundreder gamle Hatta Heritage Village byder på et forsvarstårn, stenhuse med palmeblade og falaj, det traditionelle vandsystem. Andre udstillinger omfatter traditionelle våben, møbler og service. Ved den nærliggende Hatta-dæmning har Hatta Reservoir Visitor Point udsigt over bassinerne med slående grønt vand.

Amazing Dubai Hatta tour

Me and my girlfriend did a Hatta heritage tour from Dubai today and it was amazing. The guide we got was Abdul and he was very good. Very knowledgeable, very safe driving and fun to hang out with. We didn't even feel tired. Thank you for today.

The trip was amazing, the driver picked us up at 8 am from the hotel and drove directly to the village. Unfortunately, we chose the wrong season for the trip because the dam was closed as well as most of the shops within Hatte Heritage Village area, hence if you are to visit it book it on a winter month; less heat and more stuff to see.
We went for 30 mins horse riding and got to see most of the towers in the Hatta Heritage Village and also the hill park which is full of grass, trees and you can hear the birds singing, making your excursion more enjoyable.
History lovers will appreciate the village as it combines elements of traditional arabic architecture and living with more modern arabic history, as one can see within the weaponry in the Hatta Heritage Village area which includes exhibitionary swords, daggers and muskets from the 18th, 19th and 20th century.
Abdul was very kind and we talked a lot on our way to the village; basically we did not get bored at all.
We are now 4 days in Dubai, got to see most of it, but we both agreed that this excursion was the best experience so far

Timely pickup by a very experienced driver Husnain alias Suny who kept in touch with us a day before the travel to reconfirm the time and site of pickup.

Very experienced person with a good sense of humour, kind hearted who gave us exact perfect information about each place and MORE !

Never a dull moment with him. He offered to take our family photos as well. He is very patient and most importantly keeps the group lively and on time !

We wish we had done all the tours with him.

The guide is very kind and friendly, hes helpful and make the trip enjoyable. We visit a tower, masfout museum and hatta dam which is amazing. Sadly the heritage village is closed temporarily and the time is too short. But we enjoy the trip very much. The car also very comfortable and clean

Had a beautiful experience travelling to Hatta village with Our tour guide - Shams who had great experiences and stories to share with us. Travelling to Hatta was beautiful and serene. It is a hideout from Dubai city to Nature’s wonder.
Tour guide (Shams) was superb and I highly recommend him for any journey

Timely pickup by Mr Khan and had pleasant chat along the way to Hatta. Got to know more about Dubai and Hatta. Mr Khan gave us ample time to walk around Hatta which was good as some tours can get bit rushed. Pleasant getaway from the skyscrapers after 8days in Dubai.

Our tour guide was Wasim from RAH Tourism, who texted us on the eve of the trip, around midnight. If you’re going on the same tour, suggest no need to contact RAH Tourism or klook and just wait for the text from the guide as there is nothing they can or will do.

On the day of the trip, Wasim arrived 10 mins early to pick us up. He gave us a comprehensive overview of what to expect (traveling takes about 1.5 hour per way) and gave us options on what we would like to do. On top of giving us a quick history of UAE which was very much appreciated, he also drove us to grab some nice and affordable breakfast along the way. As we completed the stops early, he also squeezed in a visit to Wadi where my kids happily played for 30-40 mins before leaving Hatta at 12.30pm so that he can drop us back in Dubai by 2pm for his next assignment.

Overall, a nice trip to Hatta if you’re looking for some sightseeing and photo taking. Thanks Wasim for the pleasant experience for our family!

Great trip for those looking to enjoy some natural scenery and gorgeous mountains. Kayaking was definitely the highlight of the trip, the parks were lovely and peaceful, but sadly the village itself was closed for renovation.
Our only problem was that the tour coordinator informed us that he would pick us up an hour earlier than the timing on the agenda and had us sitting in the hotel lobby waiting, only for him to arrive an hour later for pick up. But other than that the trip was smooth sailing, albeit in a car that was a bit worn out.
Definitely bring your sunscreen, it's very sunny even in winter
