Perfect Dubai overview

We had an private tour (the thirth one with gomez and his family) and same since the last 2 Times- it Was very perfect. We Visit old Dubai, all different souks and also the Marina and try some special food (ice cream with camel milk for example and also the best sharwarma we ever had) everytime again with you, your Brother or wife! This is the second time I use Jose as a guide in Dubai. First when I came as a tourist and now that I live here in the UAE. Jose is so knowledgeable that everytime I learn a little more about Dubai and the history of the UAE. This tour is particularly interesting if you want to learn about the traditions and customs of this country, as well as the history all the way back to the original tribes who ruled this land. Jose will also walk you through the Spice Souk and explains the use of the various spices. He can tell you where to buy the right things for the right price.

I believe every tourist who comes to Dubai should take a break from the "bling" of the city and take the time to revisit the past. What you'll learn through Jose highlights even more the incredible changes that this country achieved in the past 60 years.

Old Dubai and a new friend

As we walked through Old Dubai, making stops from time to time, Jose gave us the perfect explanations not only of what we saw but also about the local traditions. Jose also answered all our questions very clearly. He told us about small details that make things more understandable. He knows where to stop to have a quick typical snack (maybe we would never had stopped there on our own). He knows which shop in the souk will provide us with the best welcome, A really nice person with a warm smile, a good sense of humour, a great culture.which he shares so gently. Un grand merci.

We booked THREE different tours with Sandy - a food tour, old Dubai walking tour, and an architecture tour that included the Burj Khalifa. I can't say enough about Sandy. He was prompt, flexible, kind, easy going, and extremely knowledgable. We really enjoyed our time with him and learned so much about the city, its culture, and of course, the food! I recommend grabbing Sandy and Nat as your guide choice if they are available. Our tours with Sandy were by far better than any other tours we booked while in Dubai.

Sandy is an awesome tour guide, he is certified and is truly professional. We felt so luck to have found him and think that he is an exceptional and very passionate person. Although we were late to come at the meeting point, he was patiently waiting for our arrival and welcomed us with an open heart. It was a great pleasure to listen to his stories and seeing all the areas, everything went according to the well designed description of the tour and additionally he even shared his experience from food tasting tours, we had a great camel burger in one of the fanciest restaurants close to the arabic coffee museum and continued our journey with a new energy. He was very caring person, never rushed us during our visit in the souks and fully spent time around us sharing all his knowledge and experience. I'd highly recommend you booking this tour, as you wont regret any part of it rather will be delighted to having it.

Must do walk round old town Dubai and Souk Markets

I can fully recommend a tour with Sandy. I had an excellent experience going round old town Dubai and through the different Souk markets. Learnt so much about the history of Dubai and learnt lots about the culture. Such an interesting and memorable experience. Thankyou Sandy & Gomez. All the best.

A comfortable guided tour for the family

We certainly appreciate having a guide to help us navigate Bur Dubai and the souks, given the size and layout of the place and the rather aggressive peddling by the vendors, which can be confusing and intimidating for tourists.

Sandy is knowledgable and frank in his sharing of UAE and his experiences. He is also friendly and approachable which makes it easy for my 6 and 8 year old to ask questions and get them answered. If you have anything in particular to buy, you can just let Sandy know in advance and he will lead you there. He doesn't go into the shops with us but will always be nearby to watch out for us.

The Dubai Museum was closed at the time of our visit and we ended up the walking tour earlier after completing the intended stops.
We didn't mind the shortened tour because my husband wasn't feeling well.
