Overzicht

Verlaat je hotel in Dubai met een 4WD en reis de woestijn in. Ga offroad de duinen in en geniet, met een getrainde chauffeur aan het roer, van een dune bash. Snijd de duinen in en houd je stevig vast terwijl je 4WD weer naar beneden glijdt.

Na een fotostop bij zonsondergang, probeer sandboarden. Pak een bijgeleverd board en voel de sensatie van het surfen door hoge duinen. Ga dan verder naar een door bedoeïenen geïnspireerd tentenkamp, waar Arabische koffie en snoep wachten.

Naar behoren opgefrist, maak een keuze uit de aangeboden activiteiten: berijd een kameel, draag Arabische gewaden voor souvenirfoto's, laat een henna-tatoeage zetten of geniet van een optionele waterpijp (shisha). U kunt ook het tempo opvoeren door een duinbuggy of quad te huren (extra kosten) om over het zand te zoomen.

My family guessed the whole trip cost $70, so it was worthy paying $20 during the discounts.
The pickup communication could be greatly improved as we were asked to enter the pickup location during booking while they actually only pick you up from certain locations for free.

Not the tour operators fault, but the dinner started after 7pm. So you probably have around 2-3 hours free time near the site. You can do camel rides, enjoy the sunset, or just walk around. Otherwise, you would be sitting and waiting for a long time.

Overall, good experience. Things to know:

1. Free camel ride only lasts 1-2 mins, you need to pay AED 20 for 10 min ride.
