Desert safari is an experience to remember

One of the Main reasons people come to Dubai is for desert safari or sand dune bashing. It was important for us to choose a good travel agency which provide us great service. We chose Rayna tours for desert safari and were completely satisfied with the service. Desert safari experience was much more amplified because of Mr Brown from Rayna. He was exceptionally good and the sand dune bashing would stick in our memory for a long time. Desert camp was good and fire act was great. Overall a great experience

Had a great experience in desert safari . Mr khalifa helped us alott he was very polite and helpful throughout the journey. he guided us through each and every spot of the city.we are very grateful to him. Our Safari Tour was excellent. The food, henna, camel ride, everything. The Tour Coordinator, Hasnain is very friendly. He also told us a lot of informations about the city and the nearby, it was a cool experience.
Desert Safari & Dune Bashing - Rayna Tours

It was my first experience of being in Dubai and had to try the dessert safari . We went on the safari on 19th November 22 and boy or boy it did not dissappoint!!! A big shout out goes out to our incredible driver, he was just awesome. Its such a pity we did not get his name :( as we would have liked to have kept in touch with him. My sister and I shared the 4 x 4 with a family from Egypt. The driver's dune bashing was definitely the highlight of our safari tour. We would highly recommend him as he showed some cools skills :) A big Thank You also goes to Bharat Gurnanii of Rayna Yours for your kind assistance in arranging this tour and getting us such an incredible driver. We will definitely come back for another trip in the future.

Excellent arrangement . Professional driver . Though there were many people but the whole arrangement was very well orchestrated . My family enjoyed the experience and it was truly value for money . Desert Safari should be No 1 in your things to do list in Dubai .

This experience was well worthwhile and very enjoyable. Pick up and drop off from hotel. Driver was skilled and made the ride through the desert fun. Photo opportunities. Tourist buying opportunities without pressure. Fun show. Great food even with vegetarian options. No scramble for food. Free soft drinks. Our tour guide Zainab was especially helpful and considerate. I highly recommend.

Great experience and worth the money .we booked it through our hotel and was very organized from the beginnings .we were family of 4 (2 kids age 4 and 7 ) with another couple so total 6 in 4 WD car which is great car .we had fun with camel riding and then dune bashing .later the evening dinner with sunset and few nice show from the amazing fireman show ,Bellatrix dancing and skirt show .kids enjoyed and we too .I think overall great and probably the best activity we had in dubai in our 6 day trip .
However there were few things that I would suggest from organizer to consider .first since the event is fully supervised by company then there should be standard fee for falcon photo as some asking us for 10 other asking 50 AED ! Hope the process will be streamline and clear .secondly the charge for quadbike very expensive 1000 AED f0r 30 min!
Lastly in our package there was written in inclusion shisha smoking ,apparently it was certain area to smoke and you have to share it with other person unknown to you if you don't have few friends with you which I found odd .you can get one in your seating area but it will add 80AED .

First of all I would like to mention all good things and mostly were good only
Car : very nice clean and almost new condition
Driver : Nasir : he was excellent . Very informative and gave us a good time . He was friendly and nice guy
Venue : all clean and nice
Entertainment : all good
Not so good
It was not clear that they will ask money to get photos clicked ( by own ) in Arabic dress .
We biked quad bike for 3 . It was a joke as they give you a very tiny quad bike 150cc they say but you are aloes to move in small circle one after another . It seems a kids play .
Good : I shown my concern to guy on counter he was not helpful . Nasir my driver was more better person who understood custimer service more than guy in camp . So Nasir suggested to upgrade to 1000 cc 4 seater quad bike which we can ride and take out in desert driving ourself following one of their guys . So I booked it but then we had to wait so long to and when they got it then they gave to someone else . So this issue was raised to manager on site who understood cusyomer service and immediately understood I am not happy there . He gave us two bigger quad bikes 2 seater each instead if 4 seater .so that we don’t have to wait anymore . This was good that manager was conceded that our experience shall be good over all and we shall not go unhappy . But if this would have not gone to manager I would have been unsatisfied with guy I counter who was managing the quad bike allocation / taking money for rides or upgrades .
I am glad in end I loved my expensive on that dune bike 1000cc although that was 1000 AED I think after riding I forgot how expensive that was .
Food : I would say was average
Not good part in food was that for non veg I felt standing in queue as like begging for two piece chicken . They can put more people for non veg counter who was giving two piece some ties only one piece of chicken himself to people thinking they might take more . That part felt little cheap expensive to me .
But overall experience was good . I will recommend people this company and warn them not to book small quad bike at all and only take big ones if they can afford .
My suggestion to Ryana tour is that they shall say clearly what all options are on quad bike as normall customer don’t understand difference in 150 cc vs 1000 cc until you say that you have bigger cc available and what is the price . While booking this was not clear to me

Our driver directly took us to the place where the dance show and dinner is arranged with just 5mins of desert safari. No photo stop nothing. fire show was awesome. belly dance was exciting. food was decent not so great. missed the dune bashing because of our driver from falcon operator.
DESERT ADVENTURE

It is understandable that after the pandemic things changed a lot, but compared with our previous experience this one was not at the same quality level. The camp was too crowded, the time was too strict and everything took place in a very rush way. Appreciated the support and the care of our guide Mr. Ali , a very kind and careful person.
Avoid their diner cruise. Would recommend to Choose the desert safari tour!

I had booked a few activities with Rayna Tours for my week stay in Dubai in December 2022. The activities booked were airport pickup, desert safari, full day tour abu dhabi and dinner cruise.
Overall, I would say that its better to book directly rather than going through a tour agency except if you don’t really know what and where to go. I decided to book only a few activities with them as I didn’t knew where to book these activities. And I found their prices quite ok compared to the competitors.
The hassle is contacting the agent prior to arriving sometimes they are unavailable and not readily responsive and involves waiting for answers to finalise my package. Well, i managed to secured all my activities prior to arriving in Dubai.
The airport representative was welcoming but we had to wait for a few and walk quite a lot to reach the van. It was already 1AM and we were all very tired at this time. The ride was good, the van is very clean and the driver ok as well.
The desert safari guide was absolutely awesome ! I forgot his name I think he was Amerr or something like that. Dune bashing you was amazing!! Anyway it was an enjoyable experience, the guide brought us to a place with lots of people to do buggy. Something i would also like to point out is that the guide should have warned us that there are people with eagles who would come for pictures but then ask us for big amount of money. Thankfully we didn’t give what they asked for. The diner safari was ok , the food wasn’t the best. To be honest it’s a bit like a fair , lots of people rushing for food. I didn’t like that. Overall the desert safari was good.
Avoid the diner cruise with this company, i would rate it a 3/10. Reasons why:
- The boat is very small. You barely have privacy between you and the table next to you.
- The food isn’t nice.
- We waited an hour before the boat departed from the marina.
- The toilets were horrible, flooded and dirty.
- I had originally bought alcohol , the company Rayna did rip me off, i was charged for 2 bottles on wines and 1 bottle of whisky and guess what, i had to argue with the waiter and show him that I had paid for bottles. He gave me only one. Well at that point i was tired to fight back.
I’d recommend to just purchase from get your guide or tripadvisor a nice larger cruise which we saw in the marina.
Our trip to abu dhabi was with guide Gulam. He was okay but i didn’t like that he was rushing us a bit sometimes. I actually lost my reading glasses there. I did not really enjoy this trip due to that. Also, while going to sheik zayed mosque, he brought us to one of that shop where we have to buy abaya. Actually I saw people with long pants like i had without abaya. And the abayas are extremely pricey at this place.
Overall i would recommend rayna if you don’t was the hassle of booking your activity and looking for good deals. Now that I know dubai , i will not book with an agency and rather plan on my own.
